Red Velvet Fondue

Microwave our Red Velvet Fondue & Dipping Sauce for a few seconds then serve in a fondue pot over a low flame to keep warm.  Slice apples, bananas, strawberries or other fruit, pound cake, angel food cake and marshmallows to dip.  Dip and enjoy!

 

 

 

 

Red Velvet Brownie Sundae

Bake a batch of Red Velvet Brownies (recipe on page 67 of Red Velvet Everything!) Place a pair of warm Red Velvet Brownies in a bowl.  Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream.  Top with Red Velvet Syrup!

Red Velvet Crepes

Enjoy this delicate treat! Stuff your favorite crepe recipe with Red Velvet Pastry Cream and top with Red Velvet Syrup!

Red Velvet Pastry Cream:

In a large bowl, beat 5 egg yolks with cup of sugar until thick, about 4 minutes. Slowly add 3 tablespoons of cornstarch. Then add 1 cup of hot milk. Pour this mixture back into the saucepan where you scaled the milk. Over low heat, stir constantly about 5-7 minutes; then whisk for an additional 2 minutes.  Remove from the heat and stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla, 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter, 1 tablespoon of heavy cream and 1 tablespoon of Red Velvet Syrup.  Chill the cream for about 2 hours then fold into prepared crepes for a delightful treat.  Top with whipped cream and drizzle additional Red Velvet Syrup!

 

 

Red Velvet Pears

Turn pears into a delicious and simple dessert!  Peel and core fresh pears, spoon a tablespoon of almond flavoring over the pear halves.  Pour a tablespoon of Red Velvet Syrup over each pear half and serve.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Red Velvet Yogurt Parfait

Blend 1 cup of vanilla yogurt with 3 tablespoons of Red Velvet Syrup. Place bananas, pineapple or strawberries or your favorite fruit and pieces of pound cake or angel food cake in the bottom of a parfait glass. Fill with layers of Red Velvet yogurt and fruit and cake. 

 

 

 

 

 

Red Velvet Monkey Bread

Generously butter a Bundt pan and preheat your oven to 350 F.  Open 3 cans of your favorite commercially canned biscuits. Cut each biscuit into pieces. Roll the biscuit quarters into a bowl of cup of granulated sugar.  Drop the biscuit pieces into the prepared baking pan.  Pour cup of Red Velvet Syrup over the dough.  Bake 30-35 minutes.  Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes. Turn out onto a cake plate.  Serve warm by pulling apart the yummy sticky pieces of Red Velvet Monkey Bread.

 

 

Red Velvet Cream Cheese Spread

Combine 8 oz of soft cream cheese with 3 tablespoons of Red Velvet Syrup. Blend well.  Spread on toasted bagels for a delicious breakfast treat.

 

 

Red Velvet Milkshake     

Combine 2-3 scoops of vanilla ice cream with 2-3 cups of cold whole milk in a blender.  Add - cup of Red Velvet Syrup and blend to the desired consistency. Serve immediately!

 

 

 

Hot Red Velvet

Over medium-low heat, scald a cup of whole milk - do not boil. Pour 5 tablespoons of Red Velvet Syrup or Red Velvet Fondue Sauce in the bottom of a mug.  Add the hot milk and stir to blend well and melt the chocolate.  Top with marshmallows or white chocolate shavings.

 

 

 

 

Red Velvet Root Beer Float

Put 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream in a soda glass.  In a separate glass or pitcher add 3 tablespoons of Red Velvet Syrup to fresh carbonated root beer and stir.  Pour the root beer mixture over the ice cream.  Enjoy!

 

 

Red Velvet Nog

Celebrate the holidays by pouring a quart of your favorite eggnog recipe in a punch bowl.  Stir in 1 cup of Red Velvet Syrup until smooth and well combined.

 

 

Red Velvet Cappuccino

Pour 3 tablespoons of Red Velvet Syrup into a cup of hot brewed espresso and stir.  Top with fresh frothed milk. Drizzle extra Red Velvet Syrup on top.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Red Velvetini 

Combine 2 oz White Chocolate Irish Cream with 1 Oz Red Velvet Syrup or Red Velvet Fondue Sauce and shake over ice.  Pour into a martini glass, retaining the ice.  Yum!
